Dale G. Stewart died Friday (Sept. 12, 1997) at his home. Born 30 July1943 in Salamanca, Mr. Stewart was the son of the late George and Jane (Jen) "Shaw" Stewart. On Nov. 4, 1967, in the Congragetional Church, he married the former Shirley Nichols, who survives.

Mr. Stewart was a veteran of the United States Air Force., serving 1967-1969. He was employed as a heavy equipment operator for the Department of Transportation in Salamanca for 24 years. {A list of survivors is included. }

He was predeceased by a son, Shawn Stewart on Feb. 5, 1992. Burial will be at wildwood Cemetery.
