SHINGLEHOUSE, Pa. - Zenna M. Rockwell, 80, of Shinglehouse, died Saturday (July 22, 2023) at the Bradford Nursing Pavilion, Bradford, following a long illness.

Born Oct. 22, 1942, in Salamanca, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late George and Marguerite Mongillo Rockwell.

She attended Salamanca High School.

She had been employed as a health aide with the DDSO in Gowanda, N.Y. for over 15 years, and had also been employed at Salco Industries in Salamanca.

Zenna was secretary and treasurer of Tuesday night bowling and former president and secretary of the American Legion Women's Auxiliary.

Surviving are longtime companion, Walter Smith; two daughters, Christine (Oliver) Harvey of Eldred and Holly Watson Vaughn of Kill Buck, N.Y.; two sons, Gerald (Christina Ehlers) Watson of Kill Buck and William (Lauretta Hersh) Watson of Salamanca; 10 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; a great-great-granddaughter; two brothers, Robert (Laurie) Rockwell of Coldspring, N.Y. and John Rockwell of North Carolina; and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a brother, George "Tim" Rockwell.

There will be no visitation. A Celebration of Life will be held at the convenience of the family and will be announced.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the O'Rourke & O'Rourke Inc. Funeral Home, 25 River St., Salamanca.
