GOWANDA - Roseann M. Haynoski, 80, of Gowanda, passed away Sunday (March 19, 2023) in Canandaigua.

She was born Sept. 3, 1942, in Salamanca, the daughter of the late James and Josephine Bruno Rivetti. On Sept. 30, 1961, in St Patrick's RC Church, in Salamanca, she married Daniel A. Haynoski, who predeceased her July 15, 2011.

Mrs. Haynoski was employed for many years at Sears in Gowanda and at the Gowanda Federal Credit Union.

She was a 1959 (sic) graduate of Salamanca High School and was an active member of St. Joseph's RC in Gowanda.

She will be greatly missed and is loved by her family and friends. She enjoyed feeding and watching the birds in her backyard. Roseann spent much of her later years with a close-knit group of friends and cherished the time spent with them all.

Mrs. Haynoski is survived by a son, Timothy (Marlene Pearson) Haynoski of Salamanca; two daughters, Laurene (Stan) Sutton of Canandaigua and Lisa (Brian) Thompson of Canton; and three grandchildren, Devan (Jenna) and Danielle Sutton and Gavin Thompson. Also surviving is a brother, James (Brenda) Rivetti of Olean; and several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday (March 24, 2023) at the Mentley Funeral Home Inc., 105 E. Main St. in Gowanda. A Mass of Christian Burial will be said at 11 a.m. Saturday (March 25, 2023) from Our Lady of Peace RC Church in Salamanca. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in Salamanca.
