Patrick D. McKenna
1941 - 2011

Mr. Patrick D. McKenna, age 69, of Hungry Hollow Road, Great Valley, New York died early Friday morning, June 3, 2011 at his home.

Born on December 28, 1941 in Salamanca, New York he was the son of the late Adelbert and Francis Connors McKenna. He was married on May 11, 1962 to the former Gail Metzler who predeceased him on August 10, 2010.

Mr. McKenna was a graduate of Salamanca High School.

He was employed by Nation al Fuel for 30 years prior to his retirement.

Mr. McKenna was a member of Our Lady of Peace Parish, Elkdale Country Club, the Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge #1002, a social member of the American Legion Hughes-Skiba Post #535, the JAYCEES, he served as an alderman for Ward 4, and he volunteered on building the Salamanca Public Library.

Surviving are: 3 sons, Shawn (Lisa) McKenna, Killbuck, New York, Scott (Cindy) McKenna, Dallas, TX, Michael (Katie) McKenna, Rancho Palos Verdes, CA, ; a daughter, Beth (Marc) Gelefsky, Fair Lawn, NJ; 8 grandchildren, Jarrett McKenna, Lucas McKenna, Killbuck, New York, Megan McKenna, Patrick McKenna, Kayla McKenna, Dallas, TX, Kyle McKenna, Conor McKenna, Rancho Palos Verdes, CA, Rachel Gelefsky, Fair Lawn, NJ; a sister, Carol Quattrone, Salamanca, New York.

There will be no visitation.

A memorial mass will be held at Our Lady of Peace Parish on Monday morning at 11 A.M.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the O’Rourke & O’Rourke Inc. Funeral Home, 25 River Street, Salamanca, New York.
