Dianne Dolecki
1943 - 2012

LITTLE VALLEY - Dianne L. Whipple, 68, of Seventh Street passed away Saturday (May 19, 2012) at her home.

She was born Aug. 23, 1943, in Salamanca, a daughter of the late Stanley and Esther Laieski Dolecki.

Mrs. Whipple was married to Harlow Whipple, who survives.

She had attended Holy Cross Catholic School and Salamanca Central School. Mrs. Whipple had worked at Asbury Hospital in Salina, Kan., and for 24 years at Signore Inc. in Ellicottville. She then worked at the Seneca Allegany Casino in Salamanca for seven years until her retirement.

Besides her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Denise Farner of Salamanca; and two sons, Jon (Heather) Farner of Silverdale, Wash., and Michael Farner of Salamanca; three grandchildren, Breanna, Ashley and Anthony; and a great-granddaughter, Haley. Also surviving are three stepsons, Scott (Kim) Whipple of Silver Creek, Shawn Whipple of Little Valley and Timothy Whipple of Olean.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday (May 25, 2012) at Mentley Funeral Home Inc., 411 Rock City St., Little Valley.
