Marsha Armstrong Biscup

Salamanca - Marsha Biscup, 72, of State Park Ave., died Sunday, (Feb. 2, 2014), at the Absolut of Salamanca, following a long illness.
Born Aug. 9, 1941, in Salamanca, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Elaine (Higbee) Armstrong. She was married at St. Patrick's Church on May 21, 1960, to Mr. David J. Biscup, who survives.
She assisted her husband, David, with the operations of True Value Hardware in Salamanca and Ellicottville and had formerly worked at the Seneca Theatre and New York Telephone Company.
Mrs. Biscup was a member of Our Lady of Peace Parish and the Holy Cross Athletic Club and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Ladies' Auxiliary, American Legion Ladies' Auxiliary, AARP Chapter 8444, and was a former member of S.C.O.U.T. Inc. She was an avid reader and collector of dolls.
Surviving besides her husband are: two sons, David "DJ" Biscup Jr. and Jonathan Biscup, both of Salamanca; one daughter, Carrie (Ralph) Kowsky, of Lockport; one brother, H. William (Peggy) Armstrong, of West Glacier, Mont.; one sister, Marlene (Dale) Hutchison, of Waxhaw, N.C.; and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial visitation will be held in the O'Rourke & O'Rourke, Inc. Funeral Home, 25 River St., Salamanca, N.Y., on Saturday (Feb. 15, 2014), from 10-11 a.m., at which time a memorial service will be held with Deacon Mike Anderson, of Our Lady of Peace, officiating. Internment will be in Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to the American Cancer Society or the Salamanca Senior Center.
