Joseph A. Sternisha
1923 - 2016

STERNISHA - Joseph A. Age 93, of Gowanda, August 27, 2016, beloved husband of Jeanette Denea Sternisha; father of Rev. Paul Sternisha, Carl Sternisha, Mrs. Randy (MaryJean) Ramsdell, Douglas Tussing and Mrs. Gary ( Debra) Mausteller; 12 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren also survive, along with nieces and nephews.

Joe was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Tiffany, along with five brothers, Thomas, Anthony, Frank, Charles and Louis Sternisha and a sister, Anna Pine.

Friends may call at the SCHINDLER FUNERAL HOME, 44 Center St., Gowanda from 2-4 and 7-9 Tuesday. Funeral Services with full Military Honors will be held Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at 10 AM from the Gowanda Free Methodist Church, 149 West Main St., Gowanda. (Please assemble at church).
