John F. “Jack” Newton
1950- 2019

John F. “Jack” Newton, 68, of Perrysburg, NY passed away Wednesday, September 25, 2019 at his home.

He was born December 5, 1950 in Olean, NY the son of the late Clifford and Edna (Brougham) Newton.

Mr. Newton worked for many years at IRR Supply in Fredonia. He was veteran having served in the US Army.

He was a member of the American Legion Post #409 in Gowanda, NY, AMVETS of Blasdell, NY, American Poolplayers Assoc., he was an Eagle Scout and he loved hunting and his hunting camp Charlie Camp in Portville, NY.

On September 22, 2012 he married the former Kim Byroads, who survives.

Besides his loving wife, he is survived by 4 daughters Michaeleen Newton of Erie, PA, Kelly (Anthony) Zwara of Hamburg, NY, Katie (Frank) Cuevas of Hamburg, NY and Darcie (Michael) Burns of Blasdell, NY and 3 grandchildren Janelle, Kylie and Brianna. Also surviving is a stepson Jason (Christian) Ribblett of Collins, NY and a stepdaughter Jennifer (Charles) Bennett of Gowanda, NY, 4 step grandchildren Taylor, Haylie Anne, Danika and Connor and a sister Debra (Michael) Augustyn and a niece Abbagail Augustyn both of Hamburg, NY.

Friends may call at the Mentley Funeral Home Inc. 105 East Main Street in Gowanda, NY on Friday September 27, 2019 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 1 p.m. from the Funeral Home.

Burial with Military Honors will be at Jolls Cemetery.
