Michael J. Malinowski Sr.
1948 - 2019

PERRYSBURG – Michael J. Malinowski Sr. Age 71 of Jolls Road passed away Monday July 29, 2019 at the Mercy Hospital in Buffalo surrounded by family.

Born January 21, 1948 in Gowanda, the son of Hubert and Elsie (Rymer) Malinowski.

Mike served for nearly 20 years with the military. He was a Vietnam Veteran serving with the United States Marine Corps. He later re-enlisted with the United States Army.

Mike married the former Mary J. Muscato in the Perrysburg United Methodist Church September 15, 1978. Mary survives. Mike retired from Allied Transport where he had been an over the toad truck driver. He drove a car hauler for Allied. The company was based out of West Seneca.

Mike was a proud veteran and a member of the Marine Corps Veterans the James Cruden VFW Post 5007 and the American Legion Post 409, both of Gowanda.

Surviving besides his wife of over 50 years are 2 sons; Michael J. (Amber) Malinowski Jr of Quinton, Va. and Miles J. Malinowski of Angola. Mike is also survived by 2 sisters Martha (Ronald) Nowak of Perrysburg and Alice Gross of Fla. Nieces and nephews also survive.

Friends may call at the SCHINDLER FUNERAL HOME, 44 Center St. Gowanda from 4-7 p.m. on Thursday, where funeral services with full military honors will be served Friday August 2, 2019 @ 11 a.m., interment in the Jolls Cemetery.
