Sondra Lee Evens

Sondra "Sonie" (Evens) Dutton (84) passed away October 5th, 2020 after a long illness. She was born September 13, 1936 in Olean, NY the daughter of Lawrence Lavern and Margaret Amelia (Waslohn) Evens. She was a 1954 graduate of Hinsdale Central High School. She married John Leo Dutton who predeceased her.

They resided in initially in Caladonia NY. While there she worked at Dinion Coil Co. They then built a house in Churchville NY where raised two daughters, Deborah and Susan (David) Zane. She worked for Rochester Telephone, and later in the Office for Independent Oil Company. In the late '60s they relocated to Coventry Conn where she worked in the office of a restaurant. In the 1990's after a brief time living in Eldred, Pa., she relocated to Fort Pierce Florida to be near her daughters.

She is survived by her daughters, Debbie Dutton of Sebastian, FL and Susan (David) Zane of Fort Pierce, FL; sister, Jackie (Dick) Allen of Rochester, NY; brother, Larry Evens of Eldred, PA; grand-daughter, Andrea Zane (Brett) Kuhns of Fort Pierce, FL; grandsons, Andrew Zane and Adam Zane both of Fort Pierce, FL; great-grandchildren, Nathaniel Cannon, Nathalie Kuhns and Gracelyn Lee Zane.

Sonie loved her family dearly and enjoyed flowers, knitting, and crocheting.
