1880 NYS Census Index For Franklinville

The 1880 Soundex (index) for the Federal Census records was made only for those living in a household with a child under 10. It is therefore sometimes difficult to find our ancestors in this census. I have made an index for the town of Franklinville from the 1880 Federal Census Records. This index includes only heads of household and people who had a different surname than the head of the household they were living in.
Also, please keep in mind that there may be many misspellings, either because the census taker spelled it incorrectly or I could not adequately make out the entry. In some cases, I have added ??? where I wasn’t sure, or simply said “unknown”. If you have any corrections to make, please pass them along to me and I will correct the index. Thank you!
