PORTVILLE - Patricia R. Gardner, of 1212 Burnt Hill Road, passed away Saturday (April 10, 2021) at her home, after a brief illness.

Born Dec. 15, 1942, in Olean, she was the daughter of the late William J. and Margaret McFall Julian. On April 17, 1965, at the former St. Michael's Church in Westons Mills, she married Edward J. Gardner, who survives.

Patricia was a graduate of Olean High School, Class of 1961. She had worked for Portville Central School in the cafeteria, and was a devoted housewife and homemaker to her family.

Patricia was a longtime member of the Olean First Presbyterian Church.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her three children, Michelle (Pete) Sczudlo of LeRoy, Sean (Lauri) Gardner of Weston Mills and Christine (Greg) Davis of Cuba; eight grandchildren, Devon Sczudlo, Kearyn Sczudlo, Melody Gardner, Lindsay Gardner, McKenzie Gardner, Ainslie Gardner, Sean "SJ" Gardner and Brodie Gardner; two great-grandchildren, Addison Gardner and Saylor Gaines; her siblings, Billie (Oliver) Taylor of Rush, Diane (Melvin) Skeide of Buffalo, James (Mary) Julian of Rochester, Joyce Reed of North Chili, Lorraine (Fredrick) Faircloth of Buffalo and Carol (William) Bucher of Murfreesboro, Tenn.; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a brother, William Julian.

Private graveside services will be held in Allegany Cemetery, Allegany, and at the convenience of the family.
