John R. Keller
1941 - 2023

ERIE, Pa. - John R. Keller, 83, passed away Saturday (Aug. 5, 2023) at Greenfield Healthcare and Rehabilitation in Erie. He had been residing in Erie for the last 22 years.

Born July 1, 1941 in Olean, N.Y., he was the son of Charles E. and Janet M. Faulkner Keller.

John was a 1960 graduate of Olean High School. He then enlisted in the U.S. Navy, where he served aboard the USS Enterprise stationed outside of Norfolk, Va.

He worked for 33 years in maintenance for Cattaraugus County prior to his retirement.

He leaves behind a sister, Virginia Cummins of Hinsdale; a niece, JoAnne L. Lipka; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.

He was predeceased by a niece, Linda J. Lovell, who died Saturday (Aug. 5, 2023); and a brother-in-law, Verne Cummins

No services are being scheduled at this time. He will be buried in the Keller burial plot in Chestnut Hill Cemetery, Portville, N.Y.
