OLEAN - Margaret S. Ingram, 59, of 942 N. Union St. died today (Aug. 29, 2000) at her home after a short illness.

Born in Olean on Aug. 21, 1941, she was a daughter of Edwin and Mary (Padlo) Sharp. On May 25, 1968, at St. John's Church in Olean, she married Carle A. Ingram, who survives.

A resident of Olean most of her life, she was a graduate of Olean High School and the Sisters of Charity Hospital School of Nursing. After her graduation from nursing school, she was employed at the former St. Francis Hospital in Olean and then at Olean General Hospital until the time of her illness.

She was a member of St. John's Church and the New York State Nurses Association.

Other survivors, in addition to her husband, are two daughters, Dr. Jennifer Ingram of Plainsboro, N.J., and Kathleen Ingram of Clarence; two sisters, Mary Jane (Robert) Page of Auburndale, Fla., and Jean (Charles) Massaro of Williamsville; her mother-in-law;three sistersin- law; and several cousins, nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents and her brother, Jack Sharp.

Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Guenther Funeral Home Inc., 1303 E. State St., Olean. A scriptural wake service will be held at 8:45 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. John's Roman Catholic Church, 931 N. Union St., Olean, on Thursday (Aug. 31, 2000) starting at 10 a.m. with Monsignor William Wangler as celebrant. Burial will be in St. Bonaventure Cemetery. Flowers are gratefully declined.
