Joseph Schlosser
1941 - 2019

CUBA - Joseph J. Schlosser, of 7057 Mount Monroe Road, Cuba, passed away Monday (May 13, 2019) at Buffalo General Hospital, surrounded by his family.

Born Dec. 31, 1941, in Olean, he was the son of the late Joseph L. and Elizabeth Stomieroski Schlosser. On Sept. 24, 1966, at St. Mary of the Angels Church, in Olean, he married Linda L. Kelly, who survives.

Joe was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps, serving from 1962-1965.

He worked for many years for RKB Enterprises, in Elmira.

Joe was a member of the Pulaski Club and numerous Beagle Clubs. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and his beagles. He was an avid New York Yankees fan, and loved going to their stadium in Tampa, Fla.

In addition to his wife of 53 years, he is survived by two daughters, Ann Marie (Van Snyder) Eaton of Pittman, Pa. and Sandra (Jeffrey) Sherman of Allegany; four grandchildren, Kevin Michael (Ashley) Eaton, Bethany Ann Eaton, Zachary Sherman and Allison Sherman; a brother, William (Bernice) Schlosser of Navarre, Fla.; and several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Joe's life will be held at 2 p.m. Friday (May 17, 2019) at the Pulaski Club, 1104 N. Union St. Burial will be at a later date, and at the convenience of the family.
