Theresa Prymak
1942 - 2023

OLEAN - Theresa M. Sweeney passed away Sunday (Dec. 3, 2023) at the Bradford (Pa.) Regional Medical Center, after a long illness.

She was born March 31, 1942, in Kent, Pa., to the late John and Anna Bosko Prymak.

Theresa was a graduate of Olean High School. She worked as a secretary in the career development center at St. Bonaventure University for 25 years.

Theresa was very talented with painting her ceramic pieces, she also enjoyed knitting and crocheting for fun.

Theresa is survived by her three children, Maureen (Tim) Nelson, Chris (Maureen) Sweeney and Katie (Marc) Hoefler; five grandchildren, Kevin (Kelly) Patterson, Josh (Bethany) Sweeney, Robbie (Krissy) Patterson, Tyler (Jordan) Sweeney and Savannah Nelson; four great-grandchildren, Zella, Oakland, Nolan and Grayson; four siblings, Rosalie VandeWalker, Michaelene Ingalls, Bob Prymak and David Prymak; and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents; a brother, John Prymak; and a sister, Margie Pascucci.

Friends will be received from 11 a.m. to noon Saturday, Dec. 16, 2023, at the Guenther Funeral Home, Inc. 1303 E. State St., Olean, with a memorial service beginning at noon. Theresa's brother, David Prymak, will officiate. Burial will be in St. Bonaventure Cemetery in Allegany.
