Judith Abdo Edel
October 3, 1941 - May 14, 2017

SARASOTA, Fla. - Judith Rose Edel, née Abdo, was granted her angel wings on May 14, 2017.

She was the beloved wife of the late Albert Edel; loving mother of Karen (Richard) Steffen, Francis (Wendy) Edel and William (Colleen) Edel; and cherished grandmother of Jarrett, Quentin, Hannah, Nicholas, Zack, Ashley and Madison. She is also survived by her mother, Arleen Abdo; siblings, Albert (Kathleen) Abdo Jr., Patricia Jusko, Lori (Bill) Miller, Antoinette (Garrett) Whelpton, Alan Abdo and Tina Mastrella; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Albert Abdo Sr.; and brother-in-law, Richard Jusko.

The family will receive friends from 4 to 5 p.m. Thursday (June 22, 2017) at Arndt Funeral Home, 1118 Long Pond Road, Rochester, N.Y.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Tidewell Hospice of Sarasota, 5955 Rand Blvd., Sarasota, FL 34238.
