ANAHEIM HILLS, Calif. - Virginia Ann "Jeannie" Padlo Neubert, 82, passed away peacefully at home in Anaheim Hills on July 5, 2022.
Born July 5, 1940, in Olean, Jeannie was the daughter of the late Joseph F. and Ann M. Lucyszyn Padlo. In 1962, Jeannie married Hans D. Neubert, who predeceased her in December 2021.
Jeannie was a graduate of Olean High School, Class of 1958, and Bryant & Stratton College.
Upon graduation from Bryant & Stratton, Jeannie worked for several years for Prudential Insurance in Buffalo, N.Y., New Mexico and California.
During her years as a devoted wife and mother, she also worked as a teaching assistant in the Orange Unified School District, was a voracious reader, led a Bible study group for several years at her San Antonio Church parish, as well as volunteered countless hours to many other church activities and events.
Jeannie is survived by two sons, Jason (Karen) Neubert of Placentia and Erich (Julie) Neubert of Dana Point; one sister, Frances Padlo Schena of Hamburg, N.Y.; and two brothers, Joseph David (Bonnie) Padlo of Fort Myers Beach, Fla. and John (Roxanne) Padlo of Olean. Jeannie was the beloved aunt of nieces, Kimberly Schena of California, Amy (Darren) Bates of Lake View, Cortney Padlo of Orchard Park, N.Y. and Paige Padlo of California; nephews, Mark (Rene) Schena of California and Michael Padlo of Olean; and great-nephew, Carter Bates of Lake View.
Jeannie was predeceased by her daughter, Andrea Neubert, in 1971. Jeannie was also predeceased by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins of the Padlo and Lucyszyn families.
Jeannie will be greatly missed by her family and wide circle of friends.
A Celebration of Life was held at San Antonio Roman Catholic Church in Anaheim Hills, on Aug. 5, 2022.
