Patricia Kaminski
1940 - 2016
TUCSON, Ariz. - Patricia M. Martinez, a beautiful, loving angel on Earth, lost her hard-fought battle with cancer Thursday (Sept. 22, 2016)
Pat was born to Marie and Stephen Kamiski in Olean, N.Y., on Sept. 20, 1940.
She attended St. Bonaventure University and then ventured out to the "big city" to begin her career in the travel industry. Pat truly enjoyed her work and was able to see the world in her travels. She eventually settled in Tucson, where she continued to work, love and live life to the fullest.
Pat is survived by her loving husband of 30 years, Oscar A. Martinez; her sister, Irene (Danny) Malick; her three sons, Steven (Teri) DeCastro, Max (Rebecca) DeCastro and Mario (Patricia) Martinez; and her daughter, Rosemary Soto. She had 11 grandchildren, Davida, Genavie, Felicia, Elijah, Maxim, Sabastian, Hunter, Eden, Shelby, Kelsey and Thomas; one great-grandchild, Marisa; several nieces and nephews; and many friends and extended family
Friends and family invited to celebrate her wonderful life in a Mass to be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Saturday (Oct. 1, 2016) at St. Pius Church, 1800 N. Camino Pio Decimo, Tucson, followed by a fiesta in her honor at her home, per her wishes.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
Arrangements are under the direction of Carrillo's Tucson Mortuary Inc.
