Sandy Jacobs
1940 - 2023

Sandra E. Devine, 83, of Titusville, passed away on May 23, 2023.

Sandy was born in Washington, D.C. on February 23, 1940, to Harry B. Jacobs and Dorothy Stowell Jacobs in Washington, D.C. and graduated from Olean High School in New York in 1958.

She is preceded in death by her first husband, Murdy Devine, and her second husband, Danny McGraw.

She is survived by her brothers, Harry F. Jacobs, and Dale L. Jacobs; three nephews, Harry F. Jacobs, Darrell J. Jacobs (Jo Ann), Jeremy W. Jacobs (Lorin), two nieces, Shelley B. Draper (Jason), Annalee Dunbar (Tyler) and her cat, Whiskers.

She was independent and loved to travel the world and see new places via cruise ship, train, and airplane. She never met a stranger and would tell everyone about the newspaper write up after she bungee jumped at the Royal Gorge in Colorado when she was 70 years old.

She never had children of her own, but loved all of her nieces and nephews and their children and was so very proud of them. She was an avid animal lover and took them in as members of her family. She loved to attend every event to cheer for her niece, Annalee and nephew, Jeremy. She was proud to be a flower granny in her grand-niece Hannah’s wedding. She cruised to the Bahamas and the Virgin Islands most recently with her grand-niece, Penelope.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to SPCA of Brevard County, an organization Sandy felt strongly about.
