1941 - 2016

Sara L "Sally" Scalfaro 75 of Camanche died Tuesday, November 29, 2106 at West Wing Place in Dewitt, Iowa.

Services will be 3:00pm, Saturday, December 3, 2016, at the Camanche Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes & Crematory. Visitation will be from 1:00pm to the service time Saturday at the funeral home. Following the services the body will be cremated. Burial will be at a later date at the Rose Hill Cemetery – Camanche

Sally Gray was born January 17, 1941, in Altoona, Pennsylvania to G. Isabel Sheehan Gray and Theodore B. Gray.

Sally graduated from Olean High School in Olean, NY 1958.

She married Bruce L Scalfaro on October 20th 1973. They moved to Camanche, Iowa in 1977. Sally was employed at Aux Aerovox, a nurses aid at Cattaurgus County Nursing Home in Olean then waitressed until getting her LPN and worked for the Visiting Nurses in Iowa. Sally enjoyed volunteering at the Camanche schools and working the concession stands for the athletic boosters.

Survivors include two daughters, Michelle (Kevin) White of Iowa City, Iowa, Amy (Matt) Langfitt of Camanche, two step-sons Tony (Tammy) Scalfaro of Wilmington, North Carolina, Terry (Tracy) Scalfaro of Findlay, Ohio, a sister Peggy (Lou) Lundberg of Cincinnati, Ohio, 10 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and mother-in-law Theresa Scalfaro of Eldred, Pennsylvania. She was preceded in death by her husband Bruce on November 9, 2013, parents, a grandchild and a great grandchild.
