Patricia A. Furman
1943 -2004

Patricia A. Furman, a retired telephone company employee, died Tuesday (Feb. 3, 2004) in Olean General Hospital after a lengthy illness. She was 60.

Born in Jamestown, she was a member of the first graduating class of Archbishop Walsh High School in Olean. She earned a degree in business administration at St. Bonaventure University.

Miss Furman worked for New York Telephone and Verizon as a business office supervisor. She worked for the companies in Olean, Utica and Buffalo for 30 years before retiring.

She was a member of Our Lady of the Angels Catholic Church and the Telephone Pioneers of America.
