The Following Surnames appear
in the WW I Diary
of
Wilfred H. "Friday" Allen

Authors Note:   These surnames appear in my Father's diary.   My Father was in Company "I"  of the 108th Infantry, 27 th Division.  Most of the "Boys" in Co I were from Cattaraugus and surrounding counties.    The diary was not written with the intention of it becoming  a genealogical reference work. However, if your ancestor is  mentioned in the diary, it might establish that he fought in "The Great War" , and in Co I, 108th Infantry.  It may, in some cases shed some light on the dates and circumstances surrounding  wounds and casualties.  The Diary is a work in progress. Many of the names and places may be misspelled. As information becomes available I will correct as many as I can.  Some of the names have links to photos. As work progresses, I will try and provide links to that as many as possible.

To read the diary, click on he book, the diary will open in a new window.  If your ancestor is in the diary, I would love to hear from you.   Richard D. Allen
