Kim, I have two Chapmans from the 154th to add to your list of burials. Chapman Capt. of Co. K. 154 Reg't. NY Vol. Born June 5, 1843 Died June 30, 1875 >From the affects of wounds received in the battle of Chancellorsville Va. CHAPMAN Wagner, Smiths Mills According to his obituary in the Dunkirk Evening Observer (22Jan1895), Eugene Chapman "was taken prisioner in the battle of Gettysburg, remained in Libby prison three months, was with Sherman in his famous march to the sea and received an honorable discharge at the close of war." I know very little so far about their role in the Civil War, but I do know a lot about their families. Please feel free to put a link to my e-mail address for people who want more info.
