The Class of 1940 presents this issue of the "Ellicon" as a review of the past year in order that the memory of school acquaintances and activities may not be dimmed by the passing years.

It is the aim of this book to sort out and summarize as many events as possible and give all students a chance to return to the Ellicon" to renew old acquaintances and enjoy again the accomplishments and pleasures of their happiest years.
