Information concerning Daniel Damon and his wife Emaline.  This information was researched by a Bradford Damon and  sent to my father many years ago.  This Daniel Damon was my great great grandfather.

According to the Damon genealogy, Daniel was born in Vermont to Martin Damon who moved to Freedom,  Cattaraugus County, with his family about 1829.  Daniel, born in 1826,  was the second of 13 or 14 children.  He died in 1870.   He married Emaline Jackson, age 23 in Rushford, NY, and later moved to Franklinville. Emaline was born in 1827 and died in 1889.
